The Scientific Congress Exchange is a European initiative designed to facilitate cooperation among scientific and medical societies in the organisation of their congress activities.
It provides a protected environment where scientific societies can present their congresses and explore possible forms of cooperation with related scientific communities.
What it can do
Through the Scientific Congress Exchange, scientific societies may explore different forms of interaction and collaboration, such as:

Associations may also explore organisational synergies between congresses, for example:

optimising the use of technologies

strengthening contractual capacity with hotels and service providers.
How the Exchange works
Scientific societies may submit basic information about their congress through a dedicated form, indicating possible areas of collaboration.
The information is then published in the Scientific Congress Exchange Board, accessible to authorised scientific societies.
The Secretariat may also inform potentially interested scientific communities about the congress.
Associations interested in a specific congress can contact the organisers directly.
Current implementation
The Scientific Congress Exchange is currently being progressively activated, starting with the collection and publication of congress notices submitted by scientific societies.
Confidentiality and protection of information
The Scientific Congress Exchange is a protected environment reserved to authorised delegates of scientific and medical societies.
Information submitted through the platform:

is visible only to presidents and authorised delegates of scientific societies

is not used for marketing purposes

is not included in commercial databases

is not accessible to PCOs, commercial operators, destinations or service providers.
Association Days Europe acts solely as a facilitator of dialogue between scientific societies.
Participation of scientific societies
Scientific societies wishing to present their congress and explore possible forms of cooperation with other scientific communities may submit their event through the dedicated form.
Information is visible exclusively to authorised presidents and delegates of scientific societies.
